About Wooded Paradise near Mount Rainier National Park:
This quaint A-frame was originally built in 1965 and recently remodeled in 2016. This 700 square foot vacation rental is both rustic and modern. The interior is modern and comfortable. Guests can enjoy sitting next to the wood stove after a hike up in the national park, watch a movie & relax. Wifi provided. The kitchen is equipped with the basics, and even includes thoughtful touches like coffee, creamer, salt, pepper, and hot chocolate. The bedroom is a loft with access through a pull-down ladder. The bathroom and shower are both compact spaces. The cabin has a wood stove and outdoor fire pit. Firewood is not provided but the local store Suvers, in nearby Ashford has firewood for sale.
About the location:
The cabin is located close to the Nisqually entrance to Mount Rainier National Park and is a 1-minute walk to the Nisqually River. Guests, please note there is no cell-phone coverage at the cabin so be sure to download your driving directions etc. before you hit the road for your adventure.
Area activities:
Hiking, year-round guided horseback tours, seasonal steam train rides, fishing, snowshoeing, visits to the local sculpture park and scenic drives.
