Visit Rainier Purpose Statement

Visit Rainier is a nonprofit- nonmembership organization. It is funded by a portion of Lodging Taxes generated in unincorporated Pierce County, and the City of Enumclaw. The Mission is to establish the Rainier region as the preferred mountain destination for selected market segments in Pacific Northwest urban centers, the western United States and some national and international markets. Enhance tourism revenue in the Rainier region by increasing multi-night stays in the region throughout the year.

The board meets on an as needed basis, typically 4-6 times a year. The following dates have been tentatively set by the board for 2018 and are subject to change.

RainierBucks Program

For Redeeming Businesses:
RainierBucks are vouchers given to winners of Visit Rainier contests to be used as money at Mt. Rainier area businesses. They are awarded in $50 increments. If your business is asked to accept a RainierBucks certificate, please accept the voucher as cash for payment in full or in part of the purchase after verifying the identification of the voucher holder. RainierBucks are not transferrable. The purchase must be $50 or more, exclusive of taxes and fees. They are not redeemable for cash. After accepting the vouchers, simply remit the voucher with an invoice for the amount of purchase and send it directly to Visit Rainier. You will be reimbursed by Visit Rainier within 30 days.
