Travel Tips:
- Mount Rainier National Park requires timed entry reservations for visitors arriving at the Nisqually, Stevens Canyon, and White River entrances from 7 AM to 3 PM from May 24-September 2, 2024. For more information on timed entry reservations click here.
- When visiting the wildflower nature trails at Paradise (and anywhere at Mount Rainier National Park) wildflower meadows are extremely fragile environments. All visitors must stay on designated trails when viewing wildflowers. One step off the trail damages the soil and harms future blooms. Wildflower meadow restoration takes years. Please recreate responsibly and stay on the trails at all times.
- Remember your sunscreen, there is no shade along the wildflower nature trails.
- Frequently visitors will ask when is the peak bloom time. The peak bloom time for the wildflower meadows varies yearly based on weather conditions and snowmelt.
