White Pass Ski Area is roughly 20 minutes from the cabin and offers skiing and snow play in winter, with hiking and scenic chairlift rides in summer. Mount Adams and Mount St Helens both work well as day trips. Packwood is just a short drive away for groceries, coffee, restaurants, and local breweries.
