About Sherpa Lodge at Altimeter Cabins
The Sherpa Lodge is an inviting destination whether traveling solo or together as a family. The rustic cabin was built in the early 1900s. The original hardwood floors gleam, the open floor plan, and exposed beams, wood burning stove all provide abundant Pacific Northwest vibes. Guests have access to a private outdoor hot tub, free parking, and WIFI. The historic cabin has a queen-sized bed, sofa, table, and chairs, an eat-in kitchen, and a restroom with a claw-foot tub and showers all on the main floor. A sleeping loft with two twin mattresses looks out onto the main area of the cabin. The sleeping loft is accessed by a log ladder. All wood, stone, and tile have been meticulously varnished and sealed. Though it was built in the early 1900s the cabin feels clean and bright. The cabin sleeps two on the queen-size bed and two in the sleeping loft.
Adjacent to the log cabin is a beautiful outdoor covered dining area with a live edge table and a dance floor that can be reserved in addition to the cabin. This additional area is well suited to host small outdoor socially distanced weddings and elopement ceremonies. Guests can opt to rent the cabin for a quiet getaway, or rent the entire grounds.
