About the Accommodations
Packwood Station offers guests lodging in historic ranger cabins. A total of five cabins are located on 20 acres adjacent forested grounds. Rates start as low as $115 for a small cabin for 2 and range up to $300 per night, plus tax for a large bunkhouse that sleep 20 people. Rates range according to the cabin selected, your arrival and departure dates, and the number in your party.
Each cabin has its own floor plan. When possible original hardwood floors and woodwork have been preserved. Amenities include: fire pits, gas grills, kitchens, private bathrooms, broadband internet and free parking. Adventure pups welcome with a pet fee. Guests that travel with a pet or kids please keep in mind herds of elk visit the property frequently. Always keep dogs on a leash and be sure that children give wildlife space. Help keep wildlife wild, do not feed any of the wildlife on the property.
About the Location
Near Packwood State Park, Packwood Lake, and short drive from the Stevens Canyon entrance for easy access to the Silver Falls trail at Ohanapecosh, Mount Rainier National Park. White Pass, Gifford Pinchot National Forest and the Cowlitz River. Visitors have easy access to the Taidnapam Trail which leads to a little waterfall. From this Packwood basecamp guests can explore the beautiful Cascade Mountains of the Pacific Northwest, forests, trails and creeks.
