Ohop Lake Escape

3 Bedrooms · 3 Bathrooms · Sleeps up to 8

Start your day with still water, open views, and the quiet rhythm of lake life. Ohop Lake Escape is a three-story lakefront home set directly on the shores of Ohop Lake, just 23 miles from the Nisqually entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. Because of its setting, this vacation rental works equally well for outdoor focused trips and slower stays centered on rest and reconnection.

A Lakefront Setting That Shapes the Stay

From the moment you arrive, the lake takes center stage. Large front windows frame the water and pull the landscape into the living space. As a result, the mood inside the home mirrors what is happening outside. Calm mornings feel calm indoors. Golden evenings settle naturally across the rooms.

Just steps away, a private dock extends over the water. Here, guests can fish, swim, or sit quietly and watch the lake shift throughout the day. Meanwhile, Ohop Lake’s daily boating schedule creates long stretches of calm, especially in the mornings and evenings. Kayaks, paddleboards, and swimming fit easily into a dreamy summer vacation.

Space to Gather Without Feeling Crowded

Ohop Lake Escape sleeps up to 8 guests across three distinct levels. Because of this layout, groups can spend time together while still finding space to spread out.

The top floor holds a private primary suite with a king bed, attached bathroom, walk in closet, and a small reading nook overlooking the lake. As a result, this level offers a quiet retreat at the end of the day.

On the main floor, a queen bedroom sits near a full bathroom, an open kitchen, a dining area with seating for 8, and a living room that opens directly to a full-size deck. Therefore, this level naturally becomes the gathering space for meals, conversation, and shared downtime.

The lowest level includes an open concept family room and bunk space with 4 twin beds, a full bathroom, and direct access to a second deck closer to the water. In addition, games and books make this level especially popular with younger guests.

Please note that the stairs from the parking area down to the home are not wheelchair accessible and may be challenging for guests with limited mobility.

Outdoor Living by the Water

Two large decks give guests flexibility throughout the day. On warm afternoons, the open deck offers space to soak in the sun. Meanwhile, the covered deck provides shade for reading, relaxing, or lingering over meals when the weather shifts.

Guests bringing boats can use the nearby public boat launch and keep watercraft at the private dock during their stay. Because of this convenience, lake days feel simple and unhurried. Fishing is available year-round with a valid Washington State fishing license.

A Quiet Base Near Mount Rainier

Although the lake itself invites you to slow down, Mount Rainier remains close at hand. The drive to the Nisqually entrance is scenic and direct, making it easy to plan day trips for hiking, snowshoeing, or sightseeing. Afterward, returning to the lake offers a clear contrast between adventure and rest. For everyday needs, downtown Eatonville sits less than 3 miles away.

Designed for Unplugging and Reconnecting

Ohop Lake Escape suits families, small group getaways, reunions, and remote work stays where quiet matters. Rather than pushing activity, the setting allows the day to unfold naturally. Conversations linger longer. Meals stretch out. Time feels less rushed.

Whether your plans include Mount Rainier or never move beyond the dock, this lakefront home offers a grounded, comfortable place to settle in.

Plan your stay at Ohop Lake Escape and enjoy lakefront living with room to breathe.
