In the event of inclement weather, Moon Mountain staff will do their best to keep the driveways and walkways clear of snow as quickly as possible. In case of a power outage, they have a generator to operate the well pump going so the cabins will have running water until the power is restored. The cabins do not have a generator to provide electricity to the cabins but each cabin has a wood stove. In the event of a power outage firewood will be provided to heat the cabins. Moon Mountain does not issue refunds because of acts of nature including storms, air quality from forest fires, etc. that are out of their control.
