As fall arrives at the park, leaves begin to turn, the evenings become brisk and the crowds begin to thin. Autumn at Mount Rainier is a stunning time to visit – and certainly a spectacular time to bring out the camera. All around the mountain, ordinary greens turn to shockingly vibrant reds, oranges and golds offering photographers a vivid palette of photographic possibilities. From a collection of colorful leaves on the ground to an artistic array of multicolor trees in the distance… Who can resist snapping a few shots during the beautiful fall season?
