Discover the beautiful Packwood A-frame cabin located along the Scenic White Pass Byway and Cowlitz River. Offering 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it accommodates up to 6 guests. Completed in 2023, this property blends mountain vibes with modern comforts. Well-behaved dogs are welcome (see policies), making it an ideal spot for the whole family.
Inside
With soaring ceilings and large windows, the cabin is flooded with natural light, offering peekaboo views of Butter Peak and the Tatoosh Range. The open-concept first floor has a fully equipped kitchen that features modern appliances and basic staples. For your convenience oil, salt, pepper, spices, flour, sugar, coffee, and powdered creamer are provided. Complimentary s’mores sweeten the experience, and adult guests receive a dram of whiskey to kick off their stay. Laundry facilities with unscented detergent, dryer sheets, wool dryer balls, and lavender essential oil are also provided. The first floor offers a cozy living area with a plush sofa, armchairs, throw blankets, and a smart TV for streaming. The second floor features another cozy living space with a dedicated workspace, sofa, armchair, and games for all ages. Curl up by the bio-ethanol-burning fireplace for a relaxing evening or enjoy a game night with loved ones.
Outside
Step outside onto the spacious deck and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Sip your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while relaxing by the propane fire pit or firing up the gas grill. Unwind in the Marquis Elite hot tub, surrounded by ambient market lights. One bundle of firewood is provided per stay, with additional available for purchase in town. A convertible day bed offers a perfect spot for reading and stargazing.
Children of all ages are welcome, but supervision is recommended, especially around the loft area. The cabin is pesticide-free and observes burn bans. During burn bans, guests are welcome to use the propane fire pit on the deck. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
