Welcome to the Greenwater General Store
Located in the town of Greenwater, Washington right off SR 410, this is the last place to fuel up before heading into Mount Rainier National Park. The store stocks a variety of camping and fishing gear. When it comes to groceries the selection is mostly focused around frozen and shelf-stable items. Fresh produce is limited and will vary from day to day. Visitors can purchase fishing and hunting licenses, as well as a Northwest Forest pass. The store offers a small coin operated laundry facility. The General Store primarily serves the Greenwater and Crystal Mountain area.
Lodging nearby can be found at a variety of vacation rentals, Alta Crystal Resort, and Crystal Mountain Hotels. Area campgrounds close to the store include The Dalles, Silver Springs, Tinkham, Buck Creek, and Carter Creek Campgrounds. Dispersed camping can be found at the Buck Creek Ranger Air Strip. Headed over to Yakima? This is your last stop for gas before you head over Chinook Pass. While the store isn’t open 24 hours, gas is available 24 hours at the self-service pumps. The general store has been serving visitors since 1938 when it was originally opened by Mr. & Mrs. H.E. Smith. Over the years the store has seen many changes in inventory and owners. Today, the store continues its tradition of providing the essentials needed for outdoor adventures.
