Timber River Glamping Makes Camping Easy
This rustic glamping experience features a 16’ bell tent furnished with a queen-size memory foam mattress. The tent has thoughtful amenities such as a bistro set, space to hang clothes, and a table to store guest items. Linens and bedding for 2 guests are provided.
Shrubbery and trees line the open grassy campsite. Guests can relax by the campfire in two Adirondack chairs. The campfire area has a built-in grate to aid with cooking meals. A large picnic table provides ample seating. Restroom facilities are a private “Porta-Potty” serviced weekly exclusively for this campsite only. A water spigot provides potable water. One electrical outlet is available to power the market lights near the campsite, and allow guests to charge a phone, or power a sleep apnea machine.

For an extra nightly fee, guests can bring a tent (and bedding) to pitch at the campsite. Maximum occupancy, 4 additional guests. Please note there is no hot water, shower, or WIFI. Timber River Glamping welcomes guests seasonally, weather-dependent in the months of May-early October.
This private campsite is 5 miles from the Nisqually entrance to Mount Rainier National Park in Ashford, Washington. Located 5 minutes from area restaurants, laundromat, and the Ashford General store. 2 hours from Seattle. 3 hours from Portland. Reservations are required. Guests should bring any cookware, dishes, and/or mugs. Firewood is available for purchase in Ashford at Jacob’s Barbershop and the Ashford General Store.
