The Tatoosh Trail Cabin is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom log cabin with a hot tub in Packwood, WA.
The cabin vibes are high in this spacious 2,000-square-foot vacation rental. The first floor has an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space. The kitchen is stocked with an Instant pot, crock pot, rice cooker, Griddle, blender, oils, and spices. The primary suite with a king-size bed is on the main floor. Also on the main floor are two bathrooms, (no bathroom upstairs) a mudroom, and guest laundry with a washer, dryer, soap, iron/board, and a boot dryer.
The cabin has an original log staircase. The stairs are considered steep for some and may not be suitable for everyone. Upstairs features a loft space better known as the kid’s den. This area has a Wii, Xbox, and space to read, play or watch a movie. The loft has a twin daybed and trundle bed (no door). The other two bedrooms are off of the loft space. The Ombre Forest suite has a king bed, window seat, closet, and dresser to unpack during your stay. The Antler suite features a queen and a twin bed.
The backyard was made for gathering, relaxing, and having fun.
Kick back in Adirondack and ski chairs. Get toasty around the cone crusher fire bowl. Take a soothing soak in the 3-person hot tub perfect after hiking the hills or skiing the slopes. The deck also has wrap-around seating, a gas grill, and outdoor dining for 6.

- The log cabin is located 0.6 miles from the High Valley Country Club and golf course. Tatoosh Trail Cabin guests can pay a daily guest fee to use the country club and golf course from May-September
- Tatoosh Trail Cabin is within walking distance of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest
- 8 minutes from downtown Packwood shops, brewery, grocery, and restaurants
- 25-minute drive to the Stevens Canyon Entrance of Mount Rainier National Park with easy access to Ohanapecosh
- 30-minute drive from White Pass Ski Area

Packwood often experiences a temporary power outage during heavy rain or wind storms. The cabin has emergency flashlights in outlets around the cabin. PUD is usually quick to respond and restore power. The outage will often not affect the main strip in Packwood. If guests need WIFI or cell coverage you may find it at Mountain Goat Coffee in downtown Packwood.
- Firewood is not provided for the outdoor firepit. Bring wood or purchase firewood bundles at Blanton’s grocery store in town.

- Our cabin sleeps 8 guests ONLY and can accommodate up to 10 guests with prior approval for an additional cost of $100/night/per person. It is important to abide by the guest occupancy, the cabin’s septic system can only handle so much. Children (ages 2-12 years) are counted as adults. Children 2 years and under will not count towards your guest maximum.
