Springtime in the Mt. Rainier area means roaring waterfalls as the snow begins to melt. Its the cure to cabin fever as the trails at lower elevations can be hiked. Spring means a refreshing bike ride along the Carbon River, and the opportunity to get in some early spring skiing and snowboarding at Crystal Mountain. (Just be sure to get to Crystal Mountain before they close for the season on April 22)
