Serenity A-Frame is a classic cozy A-Frame cabin perfect for two to four guests.
Located in Ashford, Washington this cozy cabin offers an upstairs loft with a queen size log bed complete with premium linens and cozy quilts. The downstairs offers a new sleeper sofa purchased in 2020 to comfortably accommodate 2 small guests or 1 adult.
Access to the upstairs sleeping loft is via a pull-down ladder. This cabin is not well suited for visitors with mobility challenges or families with young children. The bathroom with shower is on the main floor. The living room offers a Roku TV. There is no DVD or cable but there is WiFi. There’s a wood-burning fireplace on the main floor. Wood is provided for the woodstove during the winter months. Guests will want to bring their own fire starter, or add-on an extra bundle when placing reservations for an additional fee.
The kitchen is compact and stocked with a range, coffee maker, microwave, blender, and pots and pans. The outside deck is private and features a gas BBQ, tables and chairs, and firepit. Please note that firewood and fire starter for the firepit is not provided. The cabin features an outdoor private covered hot tub. Rates will vary according to the arrival date, season, holiday period.
Serenity A-Frame is located near the Nisqually entrance to Mount Rainier National Park is available to guests year-round.

CHECK-IN: check-in is at 4 pm unless previous arrangements have been made with management. Arrival before 4 pm without previous approval will result in a $25 early check-in fee.
CHECK OUT: check out is at 11:00 AM sharp. Unless a later checkout time has been established with management, later departures are not allowed and may be billed at $25 for every 30 minutes beyond 11:00 AM.
NO SMOKING: anywhere on or in premises, inside or outside. Evidence of smoking will result in forfeiture of security deposit.
PET POLICY: Dogs under 20 lbs are only allowed on a case by case basis at this time. Please contact the property management office.
Dogs must not be left in the cabin alone ever, crated or otherwise.
Please bring your own pet bed and feed/water bowls.
Dogs must not be on beds or furniture.
Please clean up dog poop.
Dog hair on beds or living room furniture, urine, or other pet-related issues that result in additional cleaning time will be charged at $50 per hour.
Evidence of a pet inside a cabin without prior approval will result in a $150 fee.
Please note-Mt Rainier National Park does not allow dogs on the trails within the park. There are other areas outside of the park that are suitable for hiking with your dog. Please inquire.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum number of guests varies by property. Only registered overnight guests are allowed at the cabins, even during the day unless written permission is given by our office. Any deviation from the original reservation must be authorized by management. Violation of the rental agreement will result in immediate termination and eviction and forfeiture of the security deposit. Cabins have a maximum vehicle capacity of 2 per cabin.
DEPOSIT: Reservations must be secured with a valid credit card or check. A deposit equal to 50% of the total reservation is required within 24 hours to hold the reservation. Balance is due 14 days prior to check-in.
CLEANING FEE: Each reservation includes an exit cleaning fee. At the end of a guest’s stay, the home will be cleaned by professional cleaning staff. While the home will be cleaned after a guest’s departure, guests are required to leave the home in a comparable condition as it was found. Failure to do so will result in an additional clean fee of $25.00 per hour charged to the guest.
CANCELLATIONS: A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation.
Cancellations that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will be refunded less a $75 change fee. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full payment. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent, deposit or cleaning fee. However, if we are able to re-rent the property for the dates canceled, we will be happy to refund any part of that whether it is partial or the full amount minus the $75 change fee.
BURN BANS: If you have been notified of a burn ban in effect during your visit, any outside fires are strictly prohibited. Any unauthorized fires will result in immediate eviction, forfeiture of the security deposit and will not be eligible for any refund. We reserve the right to prohibit fires at our cabins regardless of local burn bans if we feel that conditions warrant it.
FIREARMS: no firearms of any sort are allowed within the cabin community, including paintball guns.
FIREWORKS: no fireworks of any kind are allowed at the cabins or in the neighborhoods around the cabins.
NOISE AND DISTURBANCES: It is expected that guests will behave in a civilized manner and will be good neighbors, respecting the rights of surrounding property owners and guests, being thoughtful not to disturb, annoy, endanger, and/or interfere with the enjoyment of others. If excessive noise or disturbances occur resulting in notification by police or neighbors, guests will be asked to vacate the Property and will forfeit the reservation and any monies paid.
QUIET HOURS: For guest’s enjoyment and the enjoyment of others, please respect quiet times between 8 PM and 8 AM. Complaints will be charged at $125.00 (per occurrence)
HOT TUB: The use of hot tub additives beyond the sanitizing granules provided is strictly prohibited. No bubbles, oils, scents, etc.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: We will save your credit card on file. In the event of damage, loss, smoking, pets, unauthorized hot tub additives or excessive cleaning, we reserve the right to charge for the damages up to the amount appropriate to the situation. Guests accept all terms and conditions of the rental agreement and accept all liability for rent and charges related to property rental, as well as any damage beyond normal wear and tear during the term of the rental. Guests understand and authorize that these costs will be charged against the deposit provided.
INTERNET RELIABILITY: While our internet is reliable most of the time, Ashford experiences periodic outages due to wind, downed trees, heavy snow, etc. We cannot guarantee internet availability for your visit. We do have T-Mobile and Verizon towers nearby, making cellular service more reliable and a possible back up for maintaining internet connection during internet disruptions.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: No refunds or concessions will be made for circumstances beyond our control; such as weather, road conditions, work projects in the area, plane or ferry cancellations, government shutdowns, service outages (including internet), and health or personal reasons. Trip insurance is recommended, which covers items such as these.
Winter conditions can occur anytime between October and April. Please be prepared to drive in the snow during peak snow season! While the roads are well-plowed and sanded, you should be prepared for snow/ice in winter. We do not give refunds or short-notice date changes due to inclement weather.
POWER OUTAGE POLICY: In the event of a power outage, the following policy will be in effect:
For power outages of less than 8 hours – no refund
For power outages of 8-11 hours – 25% of the nightly rate
For power outages of 12-17 hours – 50% of the nightly rate
For power outages of 18+ hours – Full refund of the nightly rate plus the option to check out early with a full refund of the balance of your stay.
If you check out early due to a power outage before 18 hours, no refund will be offered.
MINIMUM AGE: for renters is 25. If you are under the age of 25 and wish to visit, please give us a call to discuss.
As a courtesy, if something gets broken during your stay, i.e. a glass or plate or anything, please let us know at check out. You will not be penalized, we would just like to replace them for the next guest.
TERMINATION Guests agree that any violation of the Vacation Rental Agreement will be grounds for immediate eviction, forfeiture of all rental fees, and assessment of additional fees.
