Sommelier Maria Kok and her merry band of wine enthusiasts operate a wine shop with a unique lineup of global and local wines. This isn’t your snobby wine store with over-priced bottles. The friendly staff has a sense of humor, and are happy to share their expertise in an inviting casual atmosphere. Servers routinely expand their knowledge of the wines stocked in the store by taking excursions around the world, teaching wine courses and sampling regional wines that range from boutique to large-scale wineries. Tapas include various offerings of fondue, charcuterie, antipasto platters, hummus and tapenade, cheese, dipping plates, and more. Be sure to mention the “Web Special” and get a 2 for 1 wine tasting. Wednesday’s is “Grape & Gripe Night” which includes free bubblies for the ladies.
