Located in Tacoma, Washington, 21 Cellars, Tacoma’s premier boutique winery, specializes in both old-world and innovative winemaking techniques. Owned and operated by two local families, 21 Cellars is one of Tacoma, Washington’s first wineries.
We are a small, family winery located in the Chehalis Valley; halfway between Seattle and Portland, just west of I-5. We specialize in full-bodied red wines, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Barbera, all of which are barrel aged in new & neutral oak. Our popular signature blend’ Floodstick Red, is a Bordeaux blend named for the mighty Chehalis River.
Bateaux Cellars is a boutique winery located near the Cowlitz River in Washington State. Our name honors the early explorers who traveled these NorthWest waters by bateaux, hand powered boats of commerce and exploration. Our mission is to make exceptional Washington wines approachable, affordable and fun.
“Flying Dreams” embodies the idea that we all find our wings as we explore new possibilities. Vintner and owner of Flying Dreams, Leroy Radford, constantly explores ways to create sublime wines of uniqueness and character and believes that, while extraordinary wines are made with impeccable precision in the winery, they begin in the vineyard. Since its beginnings in 2005 until today, Flying Dreams has worked with the best grape growers in Washington State to create fine and interesting ultra-premium wines.
The Madsen Family Cellars in Olympia, licensed in 2005, began with two barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon. They quickly expanded, opened a tasting room and now have created more than 11 wines, both red and white. Their carefully crafted wines originate with grapes grown in Eastern Washington vineyards including Stone Tree Vineyards on the Wahluke Slope, McKinley Springs Vineyards in Horse Heaven Hills and the Seth Ryan Vineyard in Benton City.
Donald and Don, the Brewmasters and owners of Naked City Brewery and Taproom in Seattle, have been crafting beer for a combined total of 25 years – but only a few years as the dream-team. Their first batch of beer, an oak aged double IPA, took a ribbon in the NW Regionals of the 2007 National Homebrew Competition. The rest, as they say, is history. The Brewery at Naked City features a 3-barrel DME Brewhouse where the two Dons produce a special variety of small-batch beers.
Scatter Creek Winery, owned by Andrea and Terril Keary, has served the Southwest Washington community of Tenino since March 2005 and specializes in a variety of handcrafted wines, from soft whites to bold reds and dessert wines. During 2010, Scatter Creek Winery won the Taster’s Choice award at last fall’s Road to Paradise Wine Tasting as well as awards at the “Capital Food & Wine Festival” in March and the Taster’s Choice award at the “Taste of the Market”, in Olympia. Scatter Creek Winery also sells wine gifts and can create individualized labels according to the purchasers’ requirements. This year, Scatter Creek will bring the following wines:
Small Lot Co-Op supports small lot wineries in Washington State, producing less than 2,500 cases of wine a year and is dedicated to bringing these premium products to everyone. The Small Lot Co-Op vintners use grapes grown on either side of the Mountain to create elegant wines with perfect balance and intriguing complexity.
Special Note: All of the wine from the wineries represented by Small Lot will be available for purchase from their catalog.
Stina’s Cellars opened its intimate winery in Tacoma in 2005, began operating commercially in 2006 and produces about 1200 cases a year. Oak barrels and artwork create ambience in its cozy tasting room. Stina’s Cellars’ owner and vintner, Perry Preston, has been making wine and winning awards since 1990. Today, he uses carefully selected grapes from Eastern and Western Washington for his creations. Recently, Stina’s Cellars joined other Pierce County businesses in The World Trade Center Tacoma’s Fuzhou, China trade project.
