The Washington Wine Express departs on 3 weekends this September

You’re cordially invited to join the Mt. Rainier Railroad and Logging Museum (MRRR) for the Washington Wine Express, an experiential wine tasting journey on the Milwaukee Road through the forests and foothills of Mt. Rainier! Aboard the Washington Wine Express, you’ll enjoy select award-winning Washington wines, while conversing with vintners on the train and at the MRRR’s historic logging camp. Once at the MRRR Logging Museum, you’ll have a relaxing 90 minutes to visit sampling stations featuring Washington wineries and interact directly with the vintners and growers producing these fabulous vintages. Hard Cider ExpressThe Hard Cider Express ventures into the forests and foothills of Mt. Rainier on September 8, 2018

The Mt. Rainier Railroad and Logging Museum will feature various cideries using Pacific Northwest apples across Washington state. Don’t miss this experiential journey on the Milwaukee Road as we enjoy cider, rails, and the forests and foothills of Mt. Rainier all in one afternoon! Sample various Washington cideries and converse with cidermakers on board and at a historic logging camp destination! Board your coach from the platform at the historic Elbe Depot, and as you enjoy the ride through the Nisqually Valley and cross rivers and streams in the foothills of Mt. Rails to Ales: The Oktoberfest Express departs on October 6, 2018

Rails to Ales features various craft breweries using Pacific Northwest hops and fermenting their delicious beverages across Washington state. Join us for an experiential journey on the Eastern Railway of the Milwaukee Road as we enjoy beer, rails, and the forests and foothills of Mt. Rainier all in one afternoon! Sample various Washington craft beers and converse with brewers on board and at a historic logging camp destination!

Select breweries from around Washington will provide beers to sample. Beers sampled may include porters, stouts, IPA, Hefeweizens, sour ales, and witbiers. Board your coach from the platform at the historic Elbe Depot, and as you enjoy the ride through the Nisqually Valley and cross rivers and streams in the foothills of Mt. Peanuts™ The Great Pumpkin Patch Express is scheduled for Two Fall Weekends in 2018! Oct 13/14 + 20/21

The fall is a fantastic time to ride the train. Join Snoopy and Charlie Brown aboard The Great Pumpkin Patch Express. Passengers will ride the train and read the book ‘It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown’ on their journey to the Most Sincere Pumpkin Patch, where guests are greeted by Charlie Brown and Snoopy. Family-friendly activities include face-painting, crafts, temporary tattoos, coloring pages, lawn games, PEANUTS™ gang photo ops, and trick-or-treating through a historic logging camp. Each child may also select their very own pumpkin to take home during the hour layover at the Pumpkin Patch. Children and adults are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes for the trip!
