About Mt. Rainier Getaway
In a private community in Ashford is the Mt. Rainier Getaway, a 2-story barn-roof cabin with 2-bedrooms, 1-bathroom, fireplace and hot tub. Available year-round for guests, this cabin is minutes away from abundant outdoor recreation, a short drive from restaurants, a general store, gas station and sculpture park.
The space
Outside on the forested grounds is a covered hot tub, the perfect place to soak after adventuring in nature. Privacy walls and a ceiling surround the hot tub area providing shelter from rain, snow and wind. One side is left open to enable stargazing on clear nights. Guests will also find a BBQ grill, firepit, and outdoor seating area.
Inside the inviting décor is light, bright and airy. There’s a wood-stove, multiple seating areas, and two queen-sized beds to accommodate up to four guests. The kitchen is equipped with coffee maker, microwave, toaster, stove, dishwasher and full-sized refrigerator. Guests can expect to find modern conveniences like a Roku smart TV and WIFI. A foosball table, and several board games are provided for entertainment. Want to dine out? Local eateries like Wildberry Restaurant, BaseCamp Bar and Grill, Trailhead Bar & Grill, and Copper Creek are a short drive.
About the location
Located in the Echo Valley neighborhood in Ashford, Washington. Echo Valley is home to year-round residents and additional vacation rentals. The Mt. Rainier Getaway is a five mile drive to the Nisqually Entrance of Mt Rainier National Park.
