About the Moore Family Cottage
Whether you’re a couple looking for a quiet getaway or traveling the solo the Moore Family Cottage offers a clean, comfortable stay. The 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage is located 4 miles from the Nisqually Entrance of Mount Rainier National Park approximately two “ish” hours from Portland and Seattle.
Entering the cottage from the sliding glass door, the open floor plan flows directly from the living space to the kitchen. The kitchen has new appliances, granite countertops, and bar space for two. The kitchen is furnished with utensils and dishes. Brew a cup of coffee (coffee provided) to enjoy on the covered porch in the morning or sip a glass of wine as the sun goes down.
The living space features a comfy sofa and smart TV ready with popular streaming services.
Behind the divider wall is a queen mattress with fresh linens and plush pillows. Step into the fully custom bathroom with a double vanity sink. Enjoy an overhead Bluetooth light speaker that lets you connect and play your favorite music as you shower or get ready. After a hike at the national park it’s a treat to steam away your stress in the walk-in shower.
The front porch has a small BBQ and dining space for two. The covered porch allows you to sit outside even on those rainy PNW days. There’s also a custom cedar soaking hot tub, set to a perfect 102 degrees.
Working remotely? There’s high-speed WIFI and counter space.
Looking for an extended stay? There’s a brand-new washer and dryer to accommodate longer stays. Guests can balance remote work and play at the mountain.
There is a one night minimum during weekdays and 2 night minimum stay required on weekends. The property owners live on site in a separate residence. The cottage is a completely detached guest house. Though the owners are nearby they value their privacy and yours. Guests access the cottage using a lock box and code that provides a key.
