Millard’s Cabin
Originally built in 1962, Millard’s Cabin was fully renovated in 2019. This property features a main cabin and a bunkhouse. The main cabin has a loft with a queen size bed and two full beds. A quarter wall surrounding the stairs separates the two sides of the loft in the main cabin. The loft requires navigating steep ladder-like stairs to access.
The kitchen has basic appliances, pots, pans, utensils, a coffee pot, a French press, and coffee filters. Spices and vegetable oil for cooking are provided. The living room has puzzles, games, and an entertainment set (Amazon Firestick) with Netflix, prime video, and more. There’s also a record collection and record player. Additionally, the sound bar below the tv has Bluetooth capability to connect to your device. The renovated bathroom has a rain shower, toilet, vanity, and tankless water heater. Linens, towels, toilet paper, towels, and shampoo/body wash are provided.
The Private Bunkhouse
The private bunkhouse is a separate space from the cabin. The back deck with a cedar hot tub connects the two spaces. Inside the small bunkhouse is a full mattress on the bottom bunk, and a twin bunk on top. The bunkhouse also has a guest laundry with a washer and dryer. Living room with TV (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.), board games, and a record player.
Outside
Enjoy a beautiful backyard featuring a cedar-soaking hot tub for four people. There’s also a fire pit and a BBQ grill. Turn the twinkle lights on and relax in the hot tub as the sun goes down or gather around a bonfire. Set at a nice and warm 102, the cedar tub is waiting to soothe those aching muscles after hiking, playing on the tubing hill, or skiing at White Pass Ski Resort.
Location
Located in Packwood, WA just 25 minutes from the Stevens Canyon Entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. 30 minutes to White Pass Ski area. Surrounded by places for fishing, hiking, and a scenic drive along the White Pass Scenic Byway. 2.5 hours from Portland and Seattle. The cabin feels remote, this site is surrounded by beautiful mountains and woods, but it is in close proximity to neighboring vacation rentals.

Millard’s Cabin is dog-friendly for a $65 fee per pup. Guests must mention if they are bringing a dog/s at the time of placing reservations.

Parking for two to three vehicles.
The cabin’s primary heat source (and cooling source) is a newly installed split mini heat pump. A small electric fireplace is more for ambiance rather than heat. The bunkhouse heat source is a cadet wall heater. There is no AC in the bunkhouse for the summer. Additionally, for the summer months, a window AC unit is in the loft. Multiple fans are provided for comfort.
