Little Green Cabin is a cozy one-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin on Big Creek near Osborn Mountain in Ashford, WA.
Despite its size of only 320 square feet, the cabin has the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. Little Green can accommodate up to three guests. Pets are welcome for a small fee and on a case-by-case basis. Wake up to peaceful surroundings while sipping your morning coffee on the porch or take a short drive to the local coffee stand “Rise and Grind.” The cabin has air conditioning, a TV with Netflix, and WIFI. Guests can enjoy the sounds of Big Creek in their backyard and may even spot local wildlife.
The cabin is situated in a small community with a few vacation rentals on both sides, offering a tranquil retreat with a diverse range of birds, trees, deer, and elk commonly spotted in the area. The cabin is just 5 miles from the Nisqually entrance to Mt Rainier Park, making it an excellent base for exploring the park’s many activities, such as ORV trails, hiking, skiing, boating, fishing, hunting, and photography. Local shops, restaurants, and a sculpture park are also a short drive.
AREA ACTIVITIES
For adventurous guests, the Big Creek campground on Skate Creek Road offers an exciting hiking experience up Osborn Mountain. The trail is challenging but rewarding for experienced hikers and is dog-friendly, making it perfect for pet lovers seeking an outdoor adventure.
Little Green is also conveniently located just 5 miles from the Nisqually entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. This offers guests an opportunity to explore the park’s breathtaking vistas, trails, and wildlife. Other nearby activities include ORV trails, cross country skiing, boating, fishing, hunting, and photography.
And within walking distance of the cabin is a community lake. During the summer season, guests can take a leisurely stroll to the community lake and enjoy a refreshing swim.
