Happy Sew Co. brings boutique shopping to Wilkeson
After the success of her Etsy store, Rebecca Naval knew someday she’d open a storefront. When an old saloon came available in downtown historic Wilkeson Becca jumped into action. Months of hard work and dedication transformed the old bar into a charming gift shop and boutique. Then a carefully curated collection of accessories, home décor and small batch boutique clothing soon graced the shelves and displays. The inventory will change throughout the year to reflect the change in seasons. The store’s product selection reflects an emphasis on items sourced from the PNW and/or woman owned companies based in the U.S.
Happy Sew Co. hosts the HSC Marketplace
The marketplace is an area for local vendors/small businesses to set up and sell their products in limited batches. Shoppers can find the HSC Marketplace near the back of the store. Shoppers can support the maker movement in this space devoted to small businesses, artists, entrepreneurs, creatives, classes, etc.
The grand opening of Happy Sew Co. is scheduled for May 7 & 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If shopping in the boutique works up an appetite be sure to follow the aroma of the woodfired artisan pizza at Carlson Block. Happy Sew Co. is adjacent the pizzeria the Seattle Times called “the best pizza in Washington State.” And that’s not all. Wilkeson is also home to the Simple Goodness Sisters Soda Shoppe which has the best ice cream in town. Plus Nomad PNW another small family-owned business. Nomad PNW proudly roasts their own coffee on a zero emissions roaster.
