Built in 1924, the Gateway Inn is a collection of rustic log cabins near the Nisqually entrance of Mount Rainier National Park.
At the Gateway Inn, guests can sit before a crackling fire in a rustic log cabin. The Gateway Inn has an on-site mini-mart selling souvenirs and gifts. Located only 50 feet from the entrance to the National Park, the Gateway Inn is the last stop before entering the park. The property sits on over three acres of land for guests to enjoy, and is often the feeding grounds for deer. Open year-round the Gateway Inn also offers RV parking, individual cabins, and motel rooms in Ashford, Washington.
Mini-Mart
When the ghost stories start, nothing is more comforting around the campfire that a toasty marshmallow (or a relaxing glass of Washington wine, for our more grown-up guests). All the above, as well as fresh food, ready-to-eat snacks, and daily necessities are available in our market.
Gift Shop
Regional crafts and creations are a great way to remember and share your experience at Mount Rainier National Park, and Gateway Inn’s souvenir and gift shop makes it even easier to do so. We have a wide and changing variety of locally-made products, carefully selected with everyone from the baby to the grandparents in mind.
However, our most famous amenity is our hospitality. We’d love for you and your family to come join ours, whether for one night or several. Give us a call today to reserve your escape to Gateway Inn. We look forward to having you!
