About the Guest Suite
The Frey Family Farm offers a private guest suite on a 40 acre, certified organic farm just 6 miles from Mount Rainier National Park. Walk the hay fields and vegetable/berry gardens. When in season, harvest vegetables for a salad. Enjoy a quiet night by the fire pit.
The Guest Suite provides overnight accommodations separate from the farm house, with a private entrance. The small suite is located about 30 yards from the main farm house. Guest privacy is respected. The suite is a 200 foot studio with a queen bed, drop down dining/work table, two chairs, one sitting chair, a coffee bar with a microwave, refrigerator and tea/coffee maker and a 3/4 bath with a 4ft walk in shower.
The Farm
This working turn of the century farm was once a dairy that provided milk to the adjacent mill town of National and the National Park guests. Before sitting empty for years the farm was also once a beef operation. After purchasing the farm, the Frey family applied regenerative farming practices to bring the property back to an operational farm. Today the farm grows certified organic vegetables and berries, operates a CSA, and supplies produce to local restaurants and Food Hubs. They can also be found at several local farmers markets, and have a farm store on location. The farm store is stocked with in seasonal produce and offerings from other local farms and businesses. When in season, the vegetable and berry gardens are open for touring. Fields are always open for strolling.
