Event Details

It may look a little different in 2021 due to compliance with COVID restrictions but the oldest fair west of the Mississippi River returns to the Enumclaw Expo Center this July!

The King County Fair was founded in 1863. At that time, Washington was a territory not a state and honest Abe Lincoln was president. Originally held in the Georgetown area of Seattle, the King County Fair made the Enumclaw Expo Center home in 1965. The annual summertime event has been there ever since.

Visitors to the fair can expect the traditional fair-food favorites like Elephant Ears and Funnel Cake amidst the rides, entertainment, and exhibits. Plus, the expansive expo center has plenty of room for rodeos, 4H, and barrel racing.

Extend your experience there’s so much to see and do in the area. Come early, and stay late. For lodging near the Expo Center click here.

Q: Will the fair still be open during COVID?

A: Yes. Fair Management will adjust the schedule and implement modifications adhering to recommendations from state and local officials.
