What’s your favorite food? For golden eagles, it’s meatballs. For wolves, it’s steak. And for the barn owl, it’s mice.
Visit Northwest Trek Wildlife Park during their annual special event Feeding Frenzy weekend and watch the wildlife devour their favorite foods.
But it’s not just about carcasses. Our keepers get creative in presenting treats and enrichments for the animals to get them curious and encourage natural behaviors – like finding food and using their brains. Don’t worry – you won’t have to solve a puzzle before you eat your lunch, though. See wildlife and enjoy a relaxing stroll on the nature trails. Take a tram ride through the open roam area. Visitors can easily enjoy hours of fun during this event.
