Now in its fifth year! The Elbe Multi-Strada Loop is 46.8 mi./4037 ft. elevation self-supported group bike ride, 19 miles of which are on gravel roads around Pack Forest and Scott Turner/Eatonville National and Stoner roads. Start/Finish in Elbe, Washington.
The ride does not cover ground that will require technical skills, but please expect the gravel roads to be anywhere from pot-holed to smooth. Mt bikes, ‘cross bikes, road bikes (minimum 32mm tires recommended), any of these bikes will likely suffice, but each will have a disadvantage somewhere along the route.
The 2018 event covers the same route as 2015, 2016 and 2017. This is NOT a race, but it’s also not a leisurely stroll. Riders are encouraged to cycle at their own pace. Riders will meet up for a no-host lunch after the ride at the Elbe Bar and Grill (good burgers!) to regale over the ride and other adventures. Cue sheets will be available at the start. All participants will be asked to sign a standard waiver form.
