Tails are wagging at the opening of the new Enumclaw Dog Park!
Visitors traveling to the Mount Rainier area with their dogs are celebrating the opening of a new off-leash dog park! The Enumclaw Dog Park is a 2-acre off-leash park is divided into small and large breed areas. New agility type dog toys and additional seating to be added to the park later in 2019.
Located at Ellenson Park, just two minutes from the Enumclaw RV Campground, the new dog park is a convenient place for visitors traveling to Crystal Mountain or Mount Rainier National Park to stop and let their dogs play. Affordable dog-friendly lodging and several dog-friendly trails make the City of Enumclaw a great home-base for tourists traveling with dogs. Trails like Snoquera Falls, Noble Knob, Bullion Base, Norse Peak, Arch Rock, and Pinnacle Peak are best explored with dogs during the summer and fall months. Enumclaw is also home to dog-friendly breweries like Cole Street Brewery and Headworks Brewery. Tourists are welcome to enjoy a pint with their pups. Restaurants like Griffin and Wells, Kelly’s Restaurant and Lounge, the Historic Mint, Jackson’s and Il Siciliano all offer outdoor seating.
