Welcome to Elk View Lodge in Packwood, Washington.
The lodge has two units: Bull and Cow. The Bull unit is slightly larger and can accommodate up to 8 guests. The Cow unit can accommodate up to 4 guests. Both units are fully furnished and provide modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay for guests.
The Bull unit consists of a two-story cabin. The Bull unit has a kitchen, laundry, 2 bedrooms, bunks in a common area, and a full bathroom that comfortably sleeps 8 guests. An additional private sleeping quarters called “Cow” has a kitchenette. The kitchenette has a small microwave, and mini-fridge but no sink. The bathroom with toilet and shower has the only sink in the Cow unit. The Cow unit can sleep up to 4 additional guests in a queen size bed and full bunk.
Guests have the option to rent the entire estate or an individual unit.
Guests of the lodge have access to a shared hot tub available 24 hours daily. The outdoor fire pit, deck, woodshed, are also shared access. Each unit has its own propane BBQ grill.
Elk View Lodge is located just east of downtown Packwood within the Timberline community. The estate is only a 20-minute drive to the White Pass Ski Area and the Stevens Canyon entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. You can also access the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in just a 5-minute drive!
There are many activities to enjoy during each season near the lodge, such as hiking, skiing, fishing, foraging, scenic drives along the White Pass Scenic Byway, and countless photography opportunities. The surrounding area offers a variety of outdoor activities that will keep you busy throughout your stay.

- A maximum of 8 guests are allowed.
- No pets are permitted.
- Check-in is after 3:00 PM, and checkout is before 10:00 AM.
- Self check-in with a lockbox is allowed.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- Smoking is allowed outside only.
- The rental agreement is the House Rules document.
- Refunds or discounts are not provided for ski area closures, power outages, or smoke due to forest fires.
- Basic check-out procedures must be completed before leaving.
- Firewood is provided, but if it is not available, guests can purchase it.
- Children must be supervised as wildlife like bears and cougars roam nearby.
- The person making the reservation must be present during check-in and check-out.
- The rental is not transferable or sublettable.
- Those under 25 cannot rent, and those under 18 cannot be left alone in the cabin.
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Ski, snowboard, and hiking equipment is not permitted inside.
- Furniture must not be moved.
- No illegal drugs or substances are allowed, and use of fireworks is prohibited.
- Encountering wildlife is possible, and guests assume all responsibilities and risks.
