Welcome to the Elk Meadow Chalet

Located on a private, fenced, forested 1 acre in the middle of Crystal River Ranch just outside Greenwater. Reservations are accepted for all four seasons. Stay here during the winter season and you’re only 20 minutes away from Crystal Mountain Ski Resort, 10 min to Cross Country Skiing, Snowmobile trails, and snowshoeing. Stay here during the summer and you’re only 15 minutes to the North entrance (Sunrise) Mt. Rainier National Park, 20 Min. to Pacific Crest Trail, Naches Pass, 25 min. to the Wonderland Trail. 

About the location

A long paved driveway leads to the vacation rental at the end of a culdesac with a fully fenced back yard. The great room has soaring vaulted ceilings and a river rock fireplace. The main floor has a separate 2 bedroom wing which shares a bathroom. Each bedroom on the main floor has a queen-size bed. One bedroom has a flat-screen TV. The entry hall leads to a large mudroom and laundry, perfect for changing out of outdoor gear or entering the hot tub. Upstairs is a separate loft bedroom with 4 twin beds, an ensuite bath, and another brand new 55″ TV. 

The main floor kitchen, dining room, and great room have plenty of space to spread out after a day of outdoor activities. The kitchen is a “Chef’s Kitchen” with a gas stove, dishware, serving trays, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. The kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, gas range, oven, and coffee maker. The back patio has a 7-person hot tub under a covered deck with a new high-end gas grill. A fire pit with seating is in the front of the house. And there’s a place to store your backcountry items and boot-changing area. 

Rental includes paper products, cooking utensils, toiletries, detergents, and laundry supplies. The kitchen is stocked with spices, cocoa, coffee, and tea. Elk Meadow Chalet provides satellite internet, along with an extensive satellite Dish network with On-Demand, HBO. PPV + 3 new 75” & 55″ Smart TV’s. Guests can also use DSL Century Link. A landline phone is available to accommodate spotty cell service in mountains.
