Each summer tens of thousands of visitors use Crystal Mountain as a base camp for a myriad of activities. There’s so much to see and do you’ll need to stay a few nights.

Crystal Mountain is a summer playground.

Visitors to Crystal Mountain Resort in the summer season can enjoy a variety of outdoor recreation. Beautiful wildflowers bloom along hiking and mountain biking trails. Guests can experience multiple ways to appreciate the natural beauty. Spend an afternoon on a guided trail ride on horseback, fly-fishing, or a stand-up paddle board experience. Enjoy a scenic gondola ride up to the top of the mountain. On a clear day, the views of Mount Rainier and surrounding mountains are unforgettable! Be sure to visit the Summit House, Washington state’s highest elevation restaurant while you’re up there. There’s an epic 18 hole disc-golf course over challenging terrain with jaw-dropping views. Hike out to a mine, or relax at one of the restaurants…it’s all at Crystal Mountain!

Next to Mt. Rainier National Park.

During the summer season Crystal is a terrific base for exploring Mount Rainier National Park. Visit Sunrise, the Park’s highest drivable point. Take photos of wildflowers at Tipsoo Lake.  Marvel at Silver Falls, a beautiful waterfall on the Ohanapecosh River.
