This campground is located below the Clear Lake dam. A boat ramp constructed on the south shore of Clear Lake southwest of the dam offers all barrier-free facilities.  Primary facilities at the nearby Clear Lake Day Use site include parking, picnicking, fishing (including a barrier-free fishing dock), access to the lake for swimming, and a short nature trail. The campground is located on Clear Lake and is only 6-miles from Rimrock Lake.

Q: How do I find the Clear Lake South Campground? 

A: From Naches, WA travel west on Highway 12 for 31 miles. Turn left onto Forest Road 1200 / Tieton Reservoir Rd. and follow for 0.5 mile. Turn left onto Forest Road 740 and go 1 mile. Campground is just beyond Clear Lake Dam crossing.

A: They are vault toilets. 

Q: Do the campsites have full hookups for RVs?

A: No.

Q: What’s the max length for RV’s at the campsites? 

A: The campsites at Clear Lake South will accommodate up to a 22 ft long RV.
