It’s a perfect time of year to stop, and shop. Cole Street has new outdoor seating and fire pits. Storefronts and light poles are decorated with lights and wreaths. Shop windows are painted in holiday themes. Christmas music fills the air. Streams of lights cast down a subtle sparkle along the brick exterior of this extraordinary town. It even “snows” on cue! And the snow isn’t cold! Every Friday and Saturday evening around 5:00 PM the shops make “Snow on Cole Street” into a reality as “snow” lightly falls, filling the streets with the illusion that the town is hidden inside a snow globe.
