Downtown historic Enumclaw has an Ax Throwing Bar and Restaurant
Casting Iron Axes is located at 1444 Cole St, Enumclaw, WA 98022 in the former site of Kelly’s Mercantile. The business plans three phases. Phase 1 features ax throwing which began February 14, 2022. In Phase 2 is scheduled to begin May 5, 2022 and features a grill open for lunch and dinner service. Phase 3 (tentatively scheduled for summer) will open the bar and live music.
The atmosphere at Casting Iron is casual and family-friendly. A concession stand has snacks available for purchase. While the restaurant is open to all ages, kids must be 12 or older to throw axes. Minors 12 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult and have a waiver signed by a parent.
New to ax throwing?
Coaches are on hand to share safety tips and throwing techniques. Similar to a bowling alley you reserve a lane. Each lane has its own designated target. If you plan to throw axes you’ll need to wear close-toed shoes.
Throwing axes is a fun activity whether you’re by yourself or with friends and family. It’s a low-impact activity yet it still gets the blood pumping. Ax throwing makes a fantastic date night you won’t soon forget.
Casting Iron is currently available for private events. This interactive activity is available year-round, rain or shine, and makes a terrific team-building opportunity.
