The Cabins on Tenas Creek | Pine Cabin is a one-bedroom rustic cabin
Upon arrival, visitors notice the ferns and forest surrounding the Pine Cabin. There’s nothing fussy about this cabin. The exterior offers covered parking, a gravel walkway, shaker-style siding, and white shutters. The sounds of Tenas creek provide a relaxing backdrop to a BBQ or time around the fire pit.
Inside the cabin checkered curtains flank the windows. Wide plank hardwood flooring and sturdy log furniture anchor the interior. A homemade quilt covers a large queen size bed. The living room features two futons allowing for a maximum occupancy of six people. A humble woodstove in the corner warms the cabin in the cooler months. In the summer, there’s no air conditioning, however; the windows open reminding guests of their proximity to the creek. The kitchen has a large eat-in bar and is furnished with basic cooking items. Toaster, coffeemaker, microwave, plates, and silverware are all provided. For guests who want to dine out, the cabin is a short 5-minute walk to Wildberry Restaurant (open May through October).
The Cabins on Tenas Creek are located in the small town of Ashford, Washington one mile from the Nisqually entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. Elk and deer wander the grounds from time to time.

The Pine Cabin is located next door to the Fir Cabin a small studio unit operated by the same property manager.
Area Activities
Love scenic drives and hiking? Mount Rainier National Park is open year-round. Additional opportunities for outdoor recreation include the Mount Tahoma Trails, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, and the Elbe Hills and Tahoma State Forest. The local sculpture park made entirely from upcycled materials is open year-round. Guided trail rides through the forest and foothills just south of Rainier are also available year-round.
