LOCATION:  Located just off Highway 410 at milepost 88.4 on the Bumping Lake Road.

SEASON:  Generally open Memorial Day – Labor Day

The beautiful campground is located near SR410 at the confluence of the Bumping and American Rivers. The campground includes a day-use area with a restored Civilian Conservation Corps picnic shelter. The site is typically open from Memorial Day through Labor Day annually. This is a popular spot for boating, fishing, and horseback riding. During the winter season, this area is popular with snowshoers and cross country skiers. The grounds are heavily forested.

A: There are approximately 16 campsites for tents, RVs, and trailers. Not all sites can be reserved, some campsites are set aside for “first-come-first-served.” Reservations can be placed online at

A: Yes abundant trails at the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, William O. Douglas, Norse Peak Wilderness, and sections of the Pacific Crest Trail.
