LOCATION: Located just off Highway 410 at milepost 88.4 on the Bumping Lake Road.

The beautiful campground is located near SR410 at the confluence of the Bumping and American Rivers. The campground includes a day-use area with a restored Civilian Conservation Corps picnic shelter. The site is typically open from Memorial Day through Labor Day annually. This is a popular spot for boating, fishing, and horseback riding. During the winter season, this area is popular with snowshoers and cross country skiers. The grounds are heavily forested. The campground has 8 reservable sites and 4 first-come, first-served sites available between Memorial Day and the end of September. There is no water available at the campground, however, vault toilets are provided.

A: There are approximately 16 campsites for tents, RVs, and trailers. Not all sites can be reserved, some campsites are set aside for “first-come-first-served.” Reservations can be placed online at recreation.gov.
