Spend the night camping the in the scenic lowland forests of Mt. Rainier National Park. Although campsites are available on a first come, first served basis, you can reserve sites at the Cougar Rock and Ohanapecosh campgrounds by visiting recreation.gov. For White River Campground info, call (360) 569-2211 x6030.
Three campgrounds (Cougar Rock, Ohanapecosh and White River) are RV accessible while Mowich Lake offers tent-only camping.

NOTE: Ipsut Creek Campground (map) is now being managed as a backcountry camp and requires a wilderness permit. You can obtain a backcountry camping permit at the Carbon River Ranger Station. The former Sunshine Point campground is closed due to 2006 flood damage.
All overnight backcountry camping at Mt. Rainier requires a permit.
