History
Eatonville has a history in agriculture, forestry, and fishing industries. This authentic rural community was founded by Thomas C. VanEaton. Native Americans roamed the rivers and streams, including Indian Henry. Indian Henry guided Thomas VanEaton to Mt. Rainier in 1889.
