See the sights from a saddle on a guided trail ride at Crystal Mountain. Never been on a horse before? Not to worry. The staff at Chinook Pass Outfitters are trained to work with beginners up to more experienced riders. On a guided trail at Crystal Mountain you’ll enjoy the solitude and spectacular scenery of the Cascade Range in the Norse Peak Wilderness and Wenatchee National Forest. Guided trail rides are offered in a variety of times to complement your vacation itineraries. Rides range from 1 hour to all day to all day with fishing. You can ride right from your front door at Crystal Mountain. Don’t forget your camera! Reservations accepted June 1st, rides begin June 22. All details must be confirmed directly with Chinook Pass Outfitters.

Q: Is there a weight limit per rider?

A: Yes, 250 pounds per rider.

Q:What does it cost per person to ride with Chinook Pass Outfitters?

A: 1 Hour ride: $75 per rider, 2 Hour ride: $150 per rider. All Day ride (approximately 5 hours): $375 per rider (minimum group size 3 riders). Cash and Credit Card accepted. Reservations highly recommended and down payment required to book a ride.

Q: Can I book and pay for my trail ride online?

A: Not at this time. Chinook Pass Outfitters accepts cash or check only and payment is accepted at time of ride.

Q: Is there a minimum age to go on the horseback ride?

A: Yes, riders must be at least 6 years old of age to ride. Parents must be present, there is no double riding. In other words, one rider per horse.

Q: What should I wear?

A: Clothing suitable for outdoor activity. Do not wear open toe shoes.

 Q: Can I bring a cooler for a picnic?

A: Sorry no coolers or backpacks are allowed. You’ll want to bring a sack lunch only for the full-day rides.

Q: Are helmets provided?

A: Yes.
