LOCATION: Just east of Ashford, travel south on Kernahan Road for approx. 2 miles, the road makes a hard left turn and becomes Forest Route 52 (Skate Creek Road). The campground is on the right approximately 1/2 mile after this corner.
From Packwood, travel west on Forest Road 52 (Skate Creek Road) for approximately 20 miles. The campground is on the left.

This beautiful campground set in a wooded area close to the west entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park is a great getaway for a camping trip. Big Creek Campground is a single-loop campground located close to the west entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park. Some sites overlook Big Creek. The lush vegetation provides good privacy between sites but also in some of the campsites may prove challenging when pitching a tent. This campground is pet-friendly. There are no RV hookups or waste stations at this campground. Nearby hiking is available at the Osborn Mountain Trail #250 (foot, horse, mountain bike & dirt bike) – 5.5 miles
